Delete Your Account

Deleting your ExpireMate account permanently removes:

• All documents you track (names, types, expiry dates, notes)
• All scheduled and past reminders, and your notification history
• Your profile (name, email address, phone number, preferences)
• Your sign-in identity: email/password, Google and Apple sign-in links

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We cannot restore your documents or reminders afterwards.

In the ExpireMate app - mobile (iOS/Android) or web (expiremate.com):

1. Open Settings in the bottom navigation
2. Find the Danger zone section and choose "Delete account" (on the web: Settings, then Account)
3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog

Your data and sign-in identity are removed immediately, and any remaining copies leave our systems within 30 days (see Data Retention in the Privacy Policy).

You can also request deletion without the app: send an email from your account's email address to privacy@expiremate.com with the subject "Delete my account". We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm it to you by email.

We retain only what the law requires us to keep, for example billing and invoicing records for paid subscriptions, for the legally mandated period. Usage and error logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised. None of this data can be used to sign in or to reconstruct your documents.
